This site is in dire need of updating: the format clearly did not 'take off' and perhaps it needs to be more of a resource without hoping to be interactive?
It can be done but needs to be looked after - which takes more time than I've had to spare, unfortunately.
So. I'll hunt out relevant information for the site and consider a complete revamp rather than trying to make something work which clearly doesn't appeal.
If you have any suggestions, please email me: sarah@accswales.co.uk
Welcome to the website for all involved in, or interested in, the Acute Care Common Stem training programme in Wales.
Thus far it has been something of a 'slow' site - it takes time to administer and hasn't evolved as much as I would have liked. I am considering a 'redesign' and restructure... when I can find someone to look after it!
Feel free to register... and contribute...

New Trainees in an anaesthetic department who have not worked in anaesthesia before are termed “novices”.
Starting as a novice anaesthetist can be quite daunting as it is not a specialty that you see much of as an undergraduate.
However you will be very closely supervised until you are ready to look after anaesthetised patients alone.
The first 3 months
Two additions to the downloadables on the "General ACCS Reference" page - the first is the list of workplace based assessments expected of ACCS trainees. The second is a list of contacts and some information about who will be responsible for arranging the ARCPs.
Your knowledge and opinions will make this site!
It's all very well having a repository for the various forms and documents needed for ACCS training and assessments... but it would be great if this site could develop into a more useful resource for ACCS trainees - and all those considering applying for ACCS training in Wales.
